I came across Forever Living about 15 years ago. I will give you some facts about them and then share my experience of Forever.
Forever Living are the world’s largest growers and producers of Aloe Vera and have been in business for nearly 30 years. We have a patented stabilisation process to ensure our aloe vera is essentially identical to the inner leaf gel. Our aloe is also free from herbicides, pesticides, pasteurisation, freeze drying and heat treatment.
We don’t simply add a few drops of aloe vera to our products. We start with 100% inner gel and add just enough other ingredients as needed to make it suitable for uses such as shampoo, soap etc. That’s why this is the only brand I will ever use.
The company is the world leader in aloe vera products and also products from the bee hive. Founded in 1978 by Rex Maughan who is still the owner and CEO today! I’ve been lucky enough to meet him and you can see why the company is so successful – he is an amazing individual whose ethical, generous spirit pervades down through Forever Living.
They are successfully trading in over 130 countries worldwide, and that number is ever increasing. Forever sells over $2 billion of aloe and bee products every year via its worldwide network of distributors (like me!) who all work from home.
FLP pride themselves on producing products of the highest quality – our aloe vera drinks for instance are awarded the Kosher Rating and Islamic Seal of Approval every year (the company have to re-qualify every year for this). Their drinks were also the first to be awarded the International Aloe Science Council seal of approval. Rex only allows electric vehicles into the desert to collect our bee products as he knows the importance of keeping our products well away from pollution.
Forever Living have been in the UK since 1993 and their UK annual turnover is currently in the region of £36,000,000. They are based near Warwick.
Before I decided to become a distributor (as I’ve mentioned this was about 15 years ago) I had never heard of FLP. They had actually only been in this country for a year at that point. So, I decided to go along to one of their national training days before I made up my mind. For all I knew they could have been simply passing through the UK!
I was blown away by the day. I could see so many like-minded people all pursuing their goals of helping others with their health, while building a flexible income for themselves that would, if they wanted it to, give them a pension-style royalty income in a few years time.
I was very impressed by the advisory board (a GP, a vet and a nutrition and beauty consultant) who all used and endorsed the products and also gave (and still do to this day) the distributors trainings. I've been amazed at how much the company looks after it's distributors - you feel really valued. I felt very lucky to have found this amazing company and thanks to Forever Living I enjoy a far better (and freer) lifestyle than I had when I was a Designer stuck working in London with no spare time to enjoy life.
